This Term some students from Room 5 have been chosen to participate in drumming lessons with Miss Mohamed. Check out the Stomp video and leave a comment about what makes their drumming extremely talented?
We are a class of Yr 5 / 6 students embarking on a e-learning / digital journey with our teacher Mrs Rolton. Check out what we are learning, achieving and daring to make change by being the best we can be!

Weather vs. Mankind
Weather vs. Mankind
The dust storm went off like a bomb,
sand and dirt flying everywhere covering the huge terrain marching closer from
Area W.
Sand and dirt spread everywhere and trees
fallen on the ground.
Spears of lightning piercing the
ground, running across the power lines, down Central Road.
We run for cover and put on our rain
coats and protected ourselves with our umbrella shields and sand bagged the
school.
We fought off the storm and became
victorious!

A tornado as strong as 5
grenades creeping from Area W.
Bullets of snow as strong as
a horse walking in two straight lines nearly at Tom Price.
Lighting as strong as a
tornado parachuting down Cringle Street from Tom Price.
Trees are breaking houses are
falling everything is smashing. All that is left is glass and bricks that are
getting picked up.
I go and fight with my umbrella,
my shoes and with my beanie on we will fight to the end.
We fought strong and hard for
our school until we meet again.

Dust Storm hitting the opponents legs like barbed wire as they
crawled from Area W getting closer and closer to Tom Price Primary School. We
used our umbrella shields to block off the dust. Spears of lightning blasts the
buildings, as they marched down North Road. Snow as hard as shrapnel hit them
as they staggered down Central Road.
The weather made playground equipment get torn down, all of
buildings came down. L After a while we picked up the falling
equipment and nature and dragged them to shelter.
WE FOUGHT FOR TOM
PRICE PRIMARY SCHOOL WE WERE FIERCE AND BRAVE UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN…….

Rain
and hail as loud as thunder were walking through Karajini. Lightning as sharp
as spears falling from the sky. Acid puddles as deep as a pool.
Trees
are used as bridges to get across the freezing cold puddles.
We
protect ourselves with coats and beanies while we dodge the bullets of hail. We
climb through all the fallen trees and surround the school with sand bags
We
fought to the end till the battle was over until the next weather mission comes
again.

Lightning, hitting the ground like an air strike
marching from Paraburdoo.
Thunder, as loud as atomic bombs blasting above our
heads jogging through Mine Road.
The rain, hitting the backs of our legs like sharp
missiles, crawling down Tamarind Street.
Windows have smashed, fallen power lines, roads
washed out and tree roots exposed.
We shield ourselves with broken umbrellas from the
wild wind and splintering rain.
We take cover under wood benches surrounded by sand
bags that keep the flood water at bay.
As the rain dissipates we see trees lying on cars.
The devastation is over; everything is flat and
silent…
There are no winners!

Thunder, as loud as an atomic bomb,
marching from the mine.
Lightning, as sharp as spears,
parachuting from the service station.
Rain, falling like rockets, rushing
down Willow Road.
Play grounds collapsed, roads cracked
and
Classrooms’ blown to bits.
We prepared our umbrella shields.
With Coates and beanies we rebuilt
playgrounds and checked for any survivors in the classrooms.
We sacrificed a lot of men but we
neutralized the enemy… for now!

Tidal wave tanks,
as strong as a million armies rushing from Newman.
Snow bombs, as
strong as a NUKE, sneaking past Paraburdoo.
Tornadoes turning
up the dust hitting our skin like a gun, as sharp as one thousand knives
striking down Mine Road.
Parks torn to bits,
buildings exploded and our school flattened to the ground.
We equipped
ourselves ready for battle.
Dodging the snow
bombs, shielding ourselves from the tornado guns, and blasting the tidal wave
tanks.
We ran to shelter
and used the debris to rebuild the fallen
turrets,
buildings and hospitals.
We fought with
bravery and remain the winners.

As They Turned the Corner - 100 Word Challenge
"Ahhh!" Yelled some voices.
"Heeellllpppp!" They yelled.
They were running as fast as they could because a pack of wild animals were heading their way.
Whoosshh. A sound out of nowhere appeared.
"What was that?"
"Run Quick!" Yelled someone in a loud voice.
It was a massive chocolate flood. They saw some ladders and they grabbed on. Then all the wild animals flowed away.
"Phew!" they said.
Climbing up the ladder and out the sewer lid. But as they turned the corner they yelled, "Ahhhhh! Mummies!"
The race started again.

Mysterious Shadow - 100 Word Challenge
There is a mysterious world where only a few people live known as Horror Land.
Horror Land was the scariest place in the world! I saw someone up ahead, staring at me in the darkness. There was fog everywhere and he had red eyes.
I gently asked,"Who are you?"
The dude with the red eyes just replied, "Follow me!"
I walked up to him and a whole bunch of robots were there. As they turned the corner it was Candy Land and there were little animals that helped out with the robots.
