Weather vs Man
Kind
Thunder, as loud as an atomic bomb,
marching from the mine.
Lightning, as sharp as spears,
parachuting from the service station.
Rain, falling like rockets, rushing
down Willow Road.
Play grounds collapsed, roads cracked
and
Classrooms’ blown to bits.
We prepared our umbrella shields.
With Coates and beanies we rebuilt
playgrounds and checked for any survivors in the classrooms.
We sacrificed a lot of men but we
neutralized the enemy… for now!
