Jerry meet the Premier Tour group on the morning of the 25th April 2015 shortly after the closing of the dawn service. Jerry was fortunate for the two girls in the photo to give him their ANZAC Centenary Queensland Badge. Jerry has now meet three new fur friends.

Premier's ANZAC Prize 2015 Winning Entry

ReplyDeleteFact 1.The five winners of the Premier's Anzac Prize 2013 and two teacher chaperones travelled to Gallipoli and the Western Front over two weeks in April and May 2013.
Fact 2.The Premier's ANZAC Student Tour competition is open annually to students in Years 8-11.
Fact 3.Before they left, the students broadened their understanding of the Anzac tradition by researching the stories of service people from Gallipoli and the Western Front as well as other wars and peacekeeping missions.
Fact 4.It was a ten day tour
Fact 5.Western Australian school students will be part of history as they watch the sun rise over Gallipoli on the 100th anniversary of the Anzac landing.
