Genius Hour

Welcome to the beginning of Room 5's Genius Hour for Term 4...

Term 4 we will be exploring our passion with conviction.  For one hour a week students will read, research, plan and design their passion projects.  Students will take on any topic they are passionate about, create a project they can share with the class, the school... the WORLD!

Students will use Trevor Bond Questioning to develop a question related to their passion that they can research.  These will not be simple questions to find an answer easily, these will be inquiry questions, that will lend themselves to create a passion project at the end.

Projects can be media based (movie, slideshow etc), or something physical that they can build, design or create.At the completion of the genius hour timeline these projects will be shared with an audience.  Through the entire process students will be engaged in research, reading notification articles, planning through graphic organisers, writing and reflecting all integral areas of our English curriculum.
